Command Sergeant Major (Retired) Vic Martinez served 28 years in the U.S. Army, holding key leadership roles, including Regimental CSM for the 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment. He completed two combat tours in Iraq and retired as CSM for the National Training Center and Fort Irwin where he served as the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Commanding General. His honors include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, and the Purple Heart.
